Description

This Pumpkin Shaped Baked Brie is a festive fall appetizer filled with apple butter and pecans, wrapped in puff pastry, and baked until golden. Finished with a cinnamon stick stem, it’s a warm and elegant centerpiece for Thanksgiving, Halloween, or autumn parties.


Ingredients

  • ¼ cup apple butter

  • ½ cup pecans

  • 1 wheel brie cheese (8 oz)

  • 1 sheet puff pastry

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1 cinnamon stick


Instructions

  • Thaw puff pastry according to package directions. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.

  • Place brie in the center of puff pastry. Top with apple butter and pecans. Fold pastry over brie to seal.

  • Wrap with four pieces of food-safe twine to create pumpkin ridges.

  • Whisk egg with water and brush pastry. Bake 25 minutes until golden brown.
