Description

Pumpkin Deviled Eggs are a festive fall appetizer that transforms classic deviled eggs into adorable pumpkin-shaped bites with paprika and chive stems. Perfect for Halloween, Thanksgiving, or any autumn gathering.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs, hard-boiled

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard

  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 drop red food coloring (optional)

  • Fresh chives, cut into small pieces

  • Smoked paprika for garnish

Instructions

  • Peel and halve the hard-boiled eggs, then remove yolks.

  • Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  • Add a drop of food coloring if desired for a pumpkin-orange hue.

  • Pipe yolk mixture into egg whites, forming rounded mounds.

  • Use a toothpick to create pumpkin-like ridges.

  • Place a chive piece as a stem and sprinkle with smoked paprika.

  • Chill until serving.

Notes

  • Boil eggs ahead, but pipe filling just before serving for best freshness.

  • A single drop of food coloring is enough—don’t overdo it.

  • Works great as a party appetizer or a protein-packed snack.
