Description

This butter board is a creative and fun grazing experience, topped with roasted garlic, fig chutney, prosciutto, and more.


Ingredients

  • 250g (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

  • 3 teaspoons flaky sea salt

  • 1 whole head of garlic or 2 raw garlic cloves, crushed

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon fig chutney (or chutney of your choice)

  • 2 slices prosciutto, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon dukkah

  • 1 tablespoon chili oil

  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves

  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary, leaves removed from the stem


Instructions

  • Roast the garlic by slicing the head in half, drizzling with olive oil, and wrapping in aluminum foil. Roast for 40 minutes at 220°C (430°F) until soft. Let cool and squeeze out the cloves.

  • Spread softened butter on a board and create grooves. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

  • Add roasted or raw crushed garlic, fig chutney, prosciutto, dukkah, and chili oil. Garnish with thyme and rosemary.

  • Serve with fresh bread, crackers, or crudités.

Notes

  • Feel free to experiment with different toppings based on your taste.
