Description

This easy banana bread recipe is a delicious and simple way to use up ripe bananas. Moist and flavorful, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1/3 cup melted butter

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour


Instructions

 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.

  • Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl. Stir in the melted butter.

  • Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.

  • Add baking soda and salt, then stir until combined.

  • Fold in the flour until just combined. Do not overmix.

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.

  • Check doneness with a toothpick. When it comes out clean, remove from oven.

  • Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
