Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, mashed

1/3 cup melted butter

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg, beaten

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking soda

1 pinch salt

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.

Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl. Stir in the melted butter.

Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.

Add baking soda and salt, then stir until combined.

Fold in the flour until just combined. Do not overmix.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.

Check doneness with a toothpick. When it comes out clean, remove from oven.
