1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup old-fashioned oats

¾ cup packed light brown sugar

¼ cup granulated sugar

12 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces

10 cups sliced and peeled Granny Smith apples (about 8 medium)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

¾ cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cornstarch
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Work in cold butter until crumbly. Set aside.

In another bowl, toss apples with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and cornstarch. Spread into prepared pan.

Sprinkle topping evenly over apples.

Bake 45 minutes, until topping is golden brown and apples are tender and bubbling.
